Q Fever & Abattoir Diseases

Q fever is a debilitating blood borne disease contracted mainly by those working in abattoirs. Although the disease can be prevented in the main by inoculation, many abattoirs by-pass this requirement, leaving their workers exposed to what can in some cases, have a fatal outcome. One of our clients died from complications of Q fever at only 28 years of age. Garden and Green Lawyers have successfully obtained significant compensation in this area for both abattoir workers and farmers alike and in the tragic case above, for his widow and children.
