Q Fever & Abattoir Diseases
Q fever is a debilitating blood borne disease contracted mainly by those working in abattoirs. Although the disease can be prevented in the main by inoculation, many abattoirs by-pass this requirement, leaving their workers exposed to what can in some cases, have a fatal outcome. One of our clients died from complications of Q fever at only 28 years of age. Garden & Green Lawyers have successfully obtained significant compensation in this area for both abattoir workers and farmers alike and in the tragic case above, for his widow and children.
